Gay Marriage

Bablon five was written with gay marriage in mind. Did you get any pushback on that? Surprisingly, no pushback. My sense was that if we hit a point where we are actually having an interaction with alien civilizations, the differences between ourselves become far less important. This cant be at all important any more.
