I hope this is a Mumfordian moment. The history of technology is really complicated and I hesitate to make any generalizations about it. But, like with the atomic bomb, our technology has surpassed our culture. It's just too much power in the hands of a technology. And you know, I think we need that kind of wisdom more than ever right now in this moment.
