The Effects of VCUG on Renal Scarring After a First UTI
The rate of scarring after a first federal UTI is really quite low, particularly if you're able to eliminate from consideration the kids who have what they call pre-existing scarring. Muralax has only been validated in kids over the age of two and didn't even try to do it in kids under 2.
