How to Give a Conference Talk

I tend to start working on them really once they get accepted, but more in a very abstract way. But I won't start normally writing it until maybe like two weeks before. And then I've this horrible habit of like two nights before the night before going, I hit all my slides and then like pulling it all night or redoing every single slide. So now what I end up having to do is do that, record myself winging it essentially and then go back and write the script based on what I've said.
