The History of Death

Our ideas of how to look at death have changed so much over time that now this seems bizarre. Nothing really substitutes for understanding anatomy than actually getting your hand stuck into a real body. But this is seen as a reasonable substitute. Well it failed because people are still dissecting bodies. Every generation seems to try to find some way to fix that problem but I don't think there is one.
