I've seen it work on both sides sometimes you are ready and willing to do more. Sometimes just organizations aren't ready or willing to provide that kind of support for whatever reason. I think the thing is to know like where your organization stands if you do something a little different than everyone elseAre you going to be supported or is you gonna be outside the norm?
