What Are the Different Types of Relief Work?
Sotha says there are two types of poverty relief work: development and relief. Development is where you partner with people to lift them out of poverty in a sustainable way, like starting a business. Relief works focus on emergency situations or extremely vulnerable people such as orphans and widows who have been unfairly disadvantaged. Sotha believes that the world will never be free of those who suffer from "the horrible, o extra vulnerabilities"
