How Does Cryptocurrency Work?

i've recently started buying, like, very small amounts of crypto currency. And i actually did this for the purpose of trying to figure out how this works. So basically what i'm saying is, like, i put 200 dollars cash into coin vase. After all was said and done, there's 75 dollars in people tokens that i could exchange for a theorium - but i would have had to pay a 75 dollar fee about to get that back. A lot of people were in this boat. There was like, you know, forty six million dollars raised, something like that. Something like half of all m contributions were around like 200 dollars or less. It made people really mad.
