Resist the Devil, Identify the Spirit, Command It to Cease Its Assault

To resist the devil is to use your words and your will to bring the fulness of the work of christ against whatever spirit is tormenting you. Just like jesus, identify the spirit, command it to cease its assault. When i began resisting evil in my own life, when this category started to have meaning for me, i would be able to identify the spirit but then pray to god and ask god to make the spirit stop its assault on me.
