The OBR's Prediction of a Recession in the UK

The Bank of England gave us dire forecast for a session in the UK things are looking a little bit better now. The OBR will probably take a slightly dim view of the UK's medium-term prospects and what that does how that interacts with the fiscal picture is that it means that tax receipts don't grow as fast. That feeds into the questions around productivity growth around labor force participation. Is there anything the chancellor can do to try and boost growth at this stage?
