Capitalism is perceived as natural, and there's this kind of unchanging, inevitable quality to it. So we as subjects of it don't really see the kind of horizon of a shift. But i think actually, tat's not quite what he's saying, because he says that grasping the vulnurability of the capital system requires taking stock of its strength.
