Amazon's Ring Announces New Home Security Products
A class action lawsuit in California alleges Samsung unnecessarily collects personal information and then failed to properly secure it. Amazon is continuing to expand their surveillance empire under the guise of things like home security. They announced a new subscription tier for ring that offers a spotlight that uses radar to detect motion more accurately. And they announced an integration between ring and their little robot named Astro, which can allow Astro to basically function as a security guard.
