The Effects of Field Curvature on Group Shots

Field curvature is when the plane of focus doesn't just stretch out horizontally, it actually curves towards the camera or away from the camera. If you're doing like, you know, those group shots are shooting art reproduction, it's very important to understand that. Sony and now Canon are doing breathing correction in their cameras. The current Nikon S lenses are fantastic for breathing. All of the Panasonic L mount lenses with the exception of the 514 are very well corrected for breathing.
