Invasive Non-Native Species - What's the Difference?
A non-native species is one that's been moved from one part of the world to another. It can be, for example, a species moving in someone's suitcase or it could be moving in the ballast water of a ship. The IITBES assessment on invasive species will start quantifying the impacts across the planet next year.
