Dissolving Eucharist in Water
When the host looks like bread, it's no longer the eucharist. So that's why we put it in water. It's a reverent way of abasically allowing the what appears to be bread, yo cind of, naturally break down in water. In this case in vimus ares, as you can see in this picture here, the ho turned into blood. The priest stopped everything and said: "We got something on our hands here that's quite abnormal" And relatively soon after, they started doing scientific investigations. They found Blood is coming from heart muscle tissue.
