The Difference Between Coaching and Mentoring
In most countries, mentoring is subtly different from coaching. Mentor intends to be perform pro bono by more senior and season leaders who have some experience worth sharing. The biggest hole in both coaching and men touring is that your coach or mentor only know what you tell them. We all colour our stories with rationalization, and we overlay our intent to justify our actions. This can paint a really different picture to how other people experience our behaviors and performance. When i say trusted adviser, i'm specifically talking about someone who works directly with you.
