A Real Estate Agent Will Recommend an Auction Process
Melbourne is the auction capital of the world for property. The first thing I would always say to anyone looking at auctions is get along to as many auctions as you can during your research phase. A good selling agent will recommend an auction process when they think they've got that underlying interest in the property and they'll be able to get a good result. So it's important not to get involved too early, because for a couple reasons, one, I want to see who my competition is, who I'm up against, but two, I don't want to make his job early.
