How to Be a Successful Parent

Sometimes with your kid you're both teaching them how things are done and helping invite them into conventional wisdom from pre-conventional wisdom. Malcolm Gladwell sort of introduced this idea of the 10,000 hours often the way that it works is you have to learn the conventional wisdom of whatever it is that you're doing. Sometimes I'll meet people who say hey I want to do what you do or I'll meet somebody who says you know what I'm just not a nine to five guy  I just kind of want to hang out and do the work.
