Is Putin a Rational Actor?
I don't know if this would represent an existential put as a moment for Putin, but I expect that Putin does believe it. He is ultimately, in my opinion, a rational actor who believes all sorts of deeply toxic and irrational things. But nonetheless, this is a man who can get his head round, pragmatic withdrawals and essentially admitting defeat, but it takes him time. They reformulated the whole war to basically focus on the Southeast.
