I think just on the developer side that the game engines have certainly played a part in it to the ease of cross-platform relative to what it used to be. I mean, with the maturity and the ease of unreal unity, GameMaker Studio, and many more, these engines have unlocked the ability to go cross-platform with smaller teams into the lower cost than ever before. Today, a single girl in Bulgaria who taught herself programming on YouTube can make a cross-platform game by herself using GameMaker Studio. You could have virtual PlayStation in the future that your virtual living room from the 80s where you can go and sit and play the games that you used to play sort of thing.
