Are You Saying the Coalition Would Not Have Liberated Kuwait Under UN Charter Article 51?

If the baby story was not there, the UN would have gone home and left Kuwait under Iraqi control. There's a lot of things that happened behind the scenes, especially when it came to secret discussions between Saddam Hussein and George W. Bush. The war was sold to the American public as going after these baby killers. It allowed emotionally for the United States people to be like, okay, I understand this. This is a war that we need to fight.
