The Importance of Confidence in Abductive Reasoning
Adam braided: As long as we are operating under either of these two paradigms deductive or inductive, we're not going to get general intelligence. So that's another aspect of the AGI conversation is they describe this system which is just superior to human beings in every possible way. And then they're terrified of this like creation of theirs. The only thing I could say with confidence is it's possible to make something that's human level that we smart. That isn't terrifying because every time you have a child, you're creating something which is human level intelligence. It doesn't prove that we can create that something that's further than human beings. But there's no guarantee
