Enlightenment and the Beginner's Mind Approach

Even if the enlightened thinkers were too optimistic about you know the graph moving up into the right so to speak for enlightenment I do like the idea that you're responsible to let's say make sure that grandchildren or great-grandchildren will have a heritage to work within. Even if Heidegger was wrong and let's say supporting Nazism I still think that maybe the impulse to want to create an educational or cultural program as he describes in the 40s and 50s is compelling.
