Praying Gratitude

Gratitude sets the promise of God right next to my fear. It fights every subtle lie with the weapon of gratitude. St. Ignatius popularized a way of prayer called Praying the Examen or the Prayer of Examen. By tuning our ear to the sound of our own lives, the tune we are living to can grow into a masterpiece.
