The Importance of Business Knowledge in Data Science
There's no perfect solution to any data science problem. A different person works on that using different tools can have completely different type of results. What really matters is does it provide the business value? Does it work? You can always experiment and test it. If you're a pure engineer and you want to be successful in machine learning, you need to know the mathematics as well. Even if you see your self-prance as an engineer, you have some practical knowledge.
