More than half of people who are shot by guns kill themselves. Roughly 80 to 85% of shooting deaths every year involve criminals Shooting each other, or people defending themselves from criminals. The definition of what is a criminal in America is racialized and understood in certain social, economic terms. And bullets don't necessarily simply seek. Like once a bullet goes out, it can go anywhere.
