Melkor is Morgoth's other name. He cannot create life. He can only corrupt it. That's a big theme in Tolkien. We're seeing that the orcs want to serve Adar because it's willing, and Adar is saying your brothers now, you're not just thralls,. You're not just slaves. Sauron was overpowering the will of the orcs and sort of making them into his will, not their own. So like I don't understand why through someone else's will could you be corrupted? Like that's literally in the Bible dog, you know?
