The History of the Manhattan Project

The list of names connected to the Manhattan Project is incredibly long, 130,000 as it turns out. Stalin also had a very strong interest in gaining that information on behalf of Soviet Union so that the United States would not have the upper hand for very long in what would then become Cold War. Another important person was Edward Teller, a theoretical physicist who was really pushing for the development of the hydrogen bomb. They called it the super bomb during the Manhattan Project and eventually it would be developed.
