How to Kill a Middle Darling
Marie Kondo: I can usually tell that there is a hole in the middle when I get to the end and what the character is doing or saying feels wrong. And then I think, well, why does it feel that way? Oh, probably because back here he didn't respond appropriately to this or he didn't learn this. Or I never made it clear that there was this other thing going on in his head. The easiest way to find out is to kill it. So you're out of excuses. Now go right.
