The Share Price Jumped on 3M's Tentative Settlement
There are two main litigation issues here. One is PFAS and the other one is around the earplugs that is being used in the military. The US Environmental Protection Agency, they say that PFAS is linked to development delays in children and increased cancer risks. And some researchers have linked them also to specific cancers. So you can imagine this is a big issue. It's not just an issue in America. It's also an issue close to home in Belgium and the Netherlands there and the water in the river there. I mean, they're really, really, really in trouble.
