Top Universities Endowments Are Getting Worse

Top universities endowments have sky rocketed during coved. Does this mean we should expect them to stay on their current ideological trajectory for decades to come? Most top schools seem like they're going to be test optional from now on. How much and how soon will this damage the value of the signal of a degree from a top school?
