Biography :
Dr. Kim Jobst is an award-winning physician and meta physician dedicated to the integration of science, healing, and holistic healthcare. His mission is to establish and use a science of meaning that can serve to heal people and nations.
Dr. Jobst was previously invited by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama to discuss global health and mental wellbeing for mankind and later was presented with a lifetime achievement award for his services to integrated medicine by Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
He is Founding Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Alternative & Complementary Medicine, and was visiting Professor in Healthcare and Integrated Medicine at Oxford.
As the Clinical Director of the Oxford Project to Investigate Memory and Aging (OPTIMA), he and his colleagues led internationally recognized collaborative research into brain aging, Neurodegeneration and the Dementias, developing strategies for diagnosis and treatment as well as uncovering key nutritional risk factors.
Dr. Jobst now co-directs his own private healthcare practice called Functional Shift Consulting in London.
