Moche Pots - The Art of Moche Pottery
Moche pots are distinctive because they were usually made with a red colored earth, o brown coloured earth. The stirrup spout shape is almost certainly an expression of a deep, fundamental indian concept of dualism. And on the pots are these model figures of deities and warriors - which has fascinated everyone from ephraim george squire down to today.
