Confirmation bias doesn't have to be a bad thing and it can very much work to your advantage in life and business. If you ever feel the need to over explain things in business especially in the selling process do a gut check to see if confirmation bias is at the root of that problem. Those who think they are terrible at selling will be seeing information that confirms that belief. On the flip side if you can convince your brain that it is worth it and that the price is reasonable or better yet a great deal they will be more likely to hear it that way.
