What Is the Role of the Catholic Church in the City?

The first cortone that emerges in 19 72, serios maipu, had a lot more solidarity between rural laborers and factory workers. The catholic church has always been associated with the pobador movement because of this sort of connection to the countryside. But it's never really seen, or rather, very few scholars have looked at what does this mean then for those individuals who may have lived in a poblacion, but who worked in a factory.
