Jimmy Chitwood and the History of Sports Movies

The film is about a small time, Indiana underdog basketball story. Hackman hated the movie because he thought it was going to ruin his career. But there were layers to this that kept the story going in the same direction. One of my favorite favorite sports movies things is a scene where one of the guys is shooting baskets and making every basket as they're doing the scene.
