Natural Language Processing

Everything i've done related to natural language processing carries with it a sort of computer science bias towards it. I don't have your background in linguistics. What advantages does that give you your approaches to natural languageprocessing? It's quite interesting. We see a bit of a shift back again. So people try to incorporate knowledge from linguistics into the models. You may not want to, lik, produce language so much as a linguist, rather observe.
