In 19 26, lloyd jones left london and moved back to his native wales. He lived in a mining cow where almost nobody went to university. His medical training helped him when it came to preaching. The day before he became pastor at westminster chapel, war broke out across europe. Three times over the course of the war, bombs landed on westminster. Each time, fire fighters were able to save the church. It was as urban as a church can be.
