Haowun Jong is a South Korean journalist. She's been researching and writing about the factors which explain South Korea's low birth rate. The sky high housing prices that make it almost impossible for a lot of young people in the country to find a place to live together. Long working hours that make many believe having a meaningful work-life balance is almost impossible to have, especially if you're a woman. Number two is maybe more unique problem in South Korea. You really need two per woman to maintain the population.
