What Is Earth Overshoot Day?
Earth overshoot day is when the resources that we have consumed as humanity exceed what the Earth can regenerate. And so essentially we're dipping into our savings account at Earth overshoot day. In 1970 it was December 29th, and during COVID lockdowns Earth overshootday changed. It actually improved which tells me that we do have the capacity to make small changes in our lives that can help planet recover.
