How to Edit Music

The way you work with music is so specific and it reminds me of some of the first advice i got when i thought i wanted to be an editor in a past life. Half of your job probably more than half of your job is just editing music where in the song can you truncate it so it still sounds like the song but it's shorter or trying to find okay where is that sting in the song that can kind of transition me out. You have such a good eye for it where you can look at the waveforms and be like that's the chorus yep and that's the crescendoYou just have this automatic thing and i'm sure it comes from time and practice
