The Trap of Exoticizing the Everyday
In shajhanabat, the families that i talkd to have been living there forever. The people who are living here have no memory of the past. But if you go to a place where people have always lived and lived with it, they know the history of it. So for them, that association is also a very important thing. I think this is something maybe people living around it may be fascinated by. It's not something which is something that they've grown up with.
