Without the natural grounding usually afforded by a wife and children, a celibate priest is in greater danger of falling into artificiality or clericalism. Fraternity among his brother priests is the first form of pastoral charity. An interior life nourished by what we all know equips the celibates to serve the Church as she deserves.
