The Importance of Getting Into Your First Deal
I was very adverse to turnkey. And when I listened to that podcast that changed my mind, she just broke it down and said the first deal is the most important. So doing a $70,000 house as turnkey to me was almost like proof of concept. It wasn't very risky for me in terms of the amount of capital that I had to put out. But at the end of the day, I had been learning about burrs and listening to David Green talking about long-distance real estate investing. That's what I always knew I wanted to do.
