Gold Becomes the Global Premier Store of Value
Gold became the global premier store of value for that reason. It's the most inflation resistant asset in the world. Gold was really good at the time dimension, suffered in the space dimension. So we needed to centralize the custody and issue paper on top of it so that we could get a monetary technology that was good for moving value across space.
