The Challenges of a Vineyard Owner
When the vine is young, that first year that you planted, it's like a baby. You've got to really nurture it and then you don't want it to stress because if it stresses then it will struggle through its whole adult life. There's a fine line of making sure that it fights for itself which creates a very concentrated grape. It takes you at least 10 years to understand what that property and that vines give you.
