The Law and the Word of the Lord, a Good Thing
In verse four, he shall judge among the naions. And he's been passing judgment in chapter one. Will we be pronounced innocent or guilty? That's what chapter one was almost start to finish. There's rebuke in that judgment, but also divine reassurance. They shall beat their swords, military tool, into ploughshares, agricultural tool, and then repeat it, and their spears into pruning hooks. But unfortunately, it hasn't exactly been a walk in the park through much of israel's past.
