I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, so I was around the outdoors. My dad used to say again, he was an Eagle Scout. We didn't have a lot of money when I was a kid, but he'd be like, the outdoors are free. So Antarctica was my, I guess, third big world record project. It was built on the back of a couple of other big adventures before that.
