What Happened to the UFO?

The story blew up and got into the press. The Air Forces Project Blue Book did extensive research on it. Jay Allen Hynek later came to think that the extraterrestrial hypothesis should be taken seriously, but in the 1960s he still thought this was unlikely. Although I labeled the case unidentified, I've never been satisfied with that classification. There are the intangible elements which are impossible to check so the solution to the case could very well be lying dormant in Lonnie Zamora's head.
