The Reluctant Theologian Podcast
Mota Collapse Argument
i find it really difficult to understand how the argument could possibly be invalid, like, once you consider the actual metaphysical claims of divine simplicity. I there's nothing invalid about saying that if two things are identical, then they share the same motal status. There'salso nothing invalid about drawing out the entail of basic identity claims. And in fact, i think it's a completely different argument than the ones offered by people like brian leftow or william lancraig an. In which case, this isn't really a response to my argument or their arguments. It's just changing the conversation.
